The Bollywood gossip mills are busy these days predicting a break up between Shahid and Kareena due to the stepping in of Saif Ali Khan. Amid this speculation comes another movie starring this cute couple of Bollywood. Shahid and kareena will be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Jab we met, an interesting story with somehow common plot.

Jab we met shows a business person (Shahid), devastated with his own life as his girlfriend is being married elsewhere, decides to leave Mumbai and catches a train. In the mean time Kareena also escapes from Mumbai to elope with her boyfriend. They met on the train. Very soon they find themselves dejected in a platform without money or luggage. Shahid helps her to go back to her home Ambala, where they are mistaken as couple. Then Shahid decides to help Kareena to go all over to Manali to her boyfriend. But at the mean time he has started loving her. Story changes at this point and reaches climax through another strange journey.

Storyline is quite common. But with Imtiaz Ali as director, you can expect something unexpected in this apparently known storyline. His debut film Socha Na Tha fetched brilliant review from critics all over India. He has this uncanny habit of making ordinary films that turn out to be extra ordinary ones. It happened with socha na tha, now we do expect he comes out with same magic in Jab We Met as well. Whether their relationship is in turmoil that is not the concern of the viewers, they want a good entertainer, and with India’s two leading actors on board and Imtiaz as director, we can become more hopeful about a nice upcoming movie in Jab we met.
